  • Differentiate between oil of oregano blends and pure essential oil when purchasing-the former are marketed like supplements


Properties:  Analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, antiviral, expectorant, stimulant
Uses: respiratory disease, infections, disinfection
Cautions:  Do not use during pregnancy.  Can cause skin and mucous membrane irritation. Schnaubelt cautions that long term use may cause changes in liver metabolism
