Note: Middle
Scent: Warm, sweet, woody, camphor
Key points:

  • Warming
  • Useful for colds and respiratory diseases
  • May substitute for tea tree oil (Schnaubelt)

Properties: analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, anti-viral, expectorant, sedative, anaphrodisiac
Uses: colds, coughs, bronchitis, influenza, headaches, tension, anxiety, asthma, menstrual issues, insomnia, stress.
Cautions:  Use in moderation.  Do not use during pregnancy.  Watch species–do not use thymus species (Schnaubelt).
