The Spa Scenter is a cone shaped fan diffuser. The unit consists of a fan at the base of the unit, a slide out drawer in which to place the re-usable aroma pad, and a cover with holes through which the aroma exits the unit. The pads take about 10-15 drops of essential oil. The pads can be re-used several times, however it is best to use a different pad when switching aromas.

Because this type of unit uses a fan to not only speed evaporation, but propel the aroma into the room, there will be some associated noise. This fan diffuser is a little quieter than a nebulizer. No heat is used, so essential oils do not become altered by heat. Evaporative diffusers may diffuse the various molecules at different rates however (i.e. different components in the oil will evaporate more quickly or more slowly). The unit is about 5 x 5 x 7 inches, features a multi-speed fan, and comes in blue or beige. As with many small electronics these days, the fan will eventually wear out, but this unit is an inexpensive way to diffuse gentle aroma into a room. This unit retails for $25-40.
