Now it is time to take a look at the pros and cons of this essential oil diffuser. Yes, it has some great features that you will love, but there have been some customer complaints that you should be aware of before making a purchase.

Pros

• Easy to Use – It couldn’t be any easier to use this essential oil diffuser from NOW. All you have to do is add 500 ml (approximately two cups) of water, and up to five drops of your favorite essential oils. You can add more if you prefer a stronger scent. Turn the machine on, and the scent will be diffused into the air.
• Easy to Clean – According to the manufacturer, this machine is easy to clean (see cons for a different opinion). The directions say to fill the tank with warm water and a little bit of vinegar, empty, wipe it down, and rinse it out.

Cons

• Cleaning – Some users report that this unit is difficult to clean. They say that because the water tank is one piece, it cannot be opened or removed to clean it out. This could end up causing a problem should mold begin to develop inside the unit. This can be said of many ultrasonic diffusers though–often the water reservoir is not removable.

Summary

Now Foods is a big name in the health and wellness space, so one thing we like about this diffuser is that it has an established company standing behind it. While this is a pretty basic unit, with no timers or mist settings, probably it’s biggest advantage is the massive 500 ml water reservoir. Typical ultrasonics have water containers of 100-300 ml.  This means you can run it longer without refilling. The flip side is you need to be more careful about changing the water every couple of days so it doesn’t get slimy.  This product has been around for awhile an has a unique petal like shaped paired with a faux wood design. Not the prettiest diffuser, but a far cry from the most utilitarian as well. This diffuser is a solid choice for a large capacity ultrasonic.
