Open College: An Australian online educator offers a certificate in Aromatherapy with a curriculum that covers a wide range of topics and applications ranging from medicinal uses to applications in hair and body care products.
West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy: Located in Canada, they offer an Aromatherapy 101 course for those wishing to further their knowledge of essential oils, or a more advanced courses for those wishing to practice professionally.
Aromatherapy Institute: Located in Ontario, Canada, they offer Level I and II aromatherapy programs either in-person or by distance education.
Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy: Valerie Cooksley is an R.N. who has written books on incorporating aromatherapy into healthcare. This course may be of special interest to those interested in incorporating aromatherapy into health care.
Jeanne Rose is an herbalist and author who offers a basic aromatherapy course for home and family use. It incorporates Level I aromatherapy guidelines and is reasonably priced.

It is nice that most of these institutions offer online courses. I want to learn more about aromatherapy, but I am a busy housewife. Two of my three children are not even in school yet. Online classes are the only way I can access education. Hopefully, I can get enrolled in the summer semester.
Yes, for busy adults, online is a great option. A little more difficult to get the clinical piece but not all of us want to practice with clients anyways 🙂
