I have just recently purchased a doTERRA Petal Diffuser but unfortunatley my puppy has chewed the ac adaptor. Could you please advise where I can get a new one.
Hi Sharon,
I have never heard of this site before, so can’t vouch for them, but https://www.diffuserdoc.com/doterra-parts.html has one. Aromatools.com carries doTerra products and has been around for awhile. You could contact them and see if they carry them. Good luck!
My wood grained aroma diffuser has stopped working and I get a small spark when I plug it in. How do I send it back to manufacturer for repair or replacement what are the charges?
Lynne, do you know what brand your diffuser is? There are several wood grained diffusers on the market. If you don’t know, sometimes there is a tag on the bottom of the diffuser, or if you remember where you bought it (if online) you may be able to see in your order history. Most brands have a website with a contact page, or if you bought it from Amazon you can contact sellers directly through their messaging system. How they handle it will depend on the individual company’s warranty policies. If it out of warranty, I suspect it may be more expensive to send it in for repair than to replace it. Good luck!
Hi I’ve read about differences between nebulising diffusers and ultrasonic ones but when trying to find a reasonably priced one they advertise them as nebulising ultrasonic diffusers ?? I’m confused with the terminology
Thanks
Hi–it sure can be confusing. There is a longer answer as to why I think you see the term “nebulising ultrasonic” used, but the short answer is I would be suspicious whether the person selling a diffuser labelled like that knows the difference themselves! In a case like that, I would look at the description and/or directions for use. If the product description doesn’t talk about how to use it, you may need to check the company/brand’s website to see if they have directions. If using water is part of the directions, it is an ultrasonic. That will be the key way to tell them apart. In terms of prices, I have not seen a true nebulizer for less than $50 if that helps.
I have been reading your book on Scribd. I need advice on fomulstions for insomnia.
Please could you advise me on the above as well as which diffuser to use.
Hello Elpida,
Unfortunately I can’t give specific advice to individuals over the internet. You would be best off consulting with someone in your area who could review your medical history and situation. I did however write an in-depth post on insomnia here https://www.diffuseressentials.com/diffusing-essential-oils-for-insomnia/ and it gives several ideas for oils to try, diffuser blends, and advice on which type of diffuser to use. In general, I would recommend one with a timer that will only run occasionally during the night or will shut off after 30-60 minutes. You could also just use a simple clay disc at bedside (that’s what we do at my house). I hope that helps!
Hi! I am trying to subscribe to get the free essential oils but the mail chimp is in the way of the email line can you send me the free essential oil recipes ? Also I’m new to the air sprays can I use rubbing alcohol in place of the vodka?
Thank you !
Hi Brenda, yes, when you click on the diffuser blend subscription you should see a page with MailChimp in the URL of your browser. This is the company I use to manage the subscription and allows the blends to get sent out any time day or night when someone subscribes. I just tested it and it seems to be working as it should. As for using rubbing alcohol, it has quite a strong smell on so that may affect the smell of your spray, and some people feel that it has impurities so is not very natural. I don’t drink vodka (or grain alcohol for that matter!) so I just buy one of those mini-bottles of vodka for a few dollars to have on hand for room sprays. You can make a room spray with just essential oils and water, but would need to mix it up fresh every day or two so it doesn’t start growing microbes. Also, if you do it without alcohol, shake well before each use. Hope that helps!
Your test was thought-provoking. Would you please let me know what type of felt material was used? To clarify, I am NOT interested in brand names. Felt may be made from various fabric sources, including blends. Thank you for your time.

How
can I clean my Diffuser World?
Hello,
It depends which of their diffusers you have. This page has information on how to clean them:https://store.diffuserworld.com/Diffuser-Cleaner_p_422.html
Can I use 70% ethanol instead of the Everclear for the room spray recipe?
